Sonoita Vineyards

Sonoita Vineyards is a 45 acre vineyard and winery located on top of a scenic hill in Elgin, AZ. 
Owner and winemaker Dr. Gordon Dutt is a retired soil scientist from the Universityof Arizona.

The varieties grown today are Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Mission, and Syrah.

Dr. Dutt planted Arizona's first commercial vineyard in 1979 and opened the winery in 1983. 
Annual production now exceeds 10,000 gal/yr.
