Sun Halo Gallery
Solar Halos are caused by refraction of sunlight through the edges of six-sided ice crystals
in high clouds. It is always colored red on the inside and blue on the outside because blue
light refracts more than red.

Solar halos are also known as a nimbus, icebow, or Gloriole.
